  “The content of this book should be learned by everyone before leaving high school. It provides a good framework for understanding peoples perspectives, reasoning, conclusions and hence their arguments. Fallacious arguments and loaded language abound in everyday situations. Critical thinking is the first step to improving ones ability to interpret and respond to what others say. If we consider how the shape of our society is influenced by arguments of a vocal few the importance of this skill is obvious.”
