Didn’t Like It “This book was really bad. I know quite a few people who think it was good, but I thought it was terrible. It took me so long to get through it, it was just SOOO tedious and boring, nowhere near enough action and cool stuff.” see full review » see other reviews » |

“I think either miss.wilton read this to me in grade 4 or mr.atkinson read this to me in garde 5? I think grade 4 because I remember miss.wiltons voice anyways its a nice book but if your sensitive then it might be a bit harsh! ”

“A story about war torn Afghanistan and the struggle of of family who has to live in a war torn city. Everything has changed, their life, their world and even who they can talk to where they can go what they can do. A very real life story of what it would be like living in the very difficult conditions of the Middle east.”

“I've just started to read this book but I can tell that it's already really unfair, violent and cruel to women and girls.The book talks about how badly their country is effected by war and how many people have had to leave their homes over and over again to find somewhere safer to live. ”

“Ellis gets her point across very well. Her characters are believable and very easy to care for. This is a young adult book but it's got some lessons and points that we should all learn.”
