It's a very quick read but well worth it; I never saw it coming but couldn't resist needing to find out! I just kept reading and reading... it was great! Highly recommended!

Truthfully I expected more....didn't quite care for the beginning and the choppy format. But the ending was pretty good.

A pretty good thriller that will appeal to tech guys, especially those from SF.

Still morning the love of his life four years after her death, Nat Idle, med student turned journalist, leaves a cafe just moments before it explodes thanks to a note written in his dead girlfriend’s handwriting. Knocked to the ground due the explosion, the woman who slipped him the note disappears into a car and so begins his quest to find out who the mystery woman is and why she warned him. This is the first chapter of author Matt Richtel’s exciting new novel Hooked: A Thiller About Love and Other Addictions.

An engaging enough mystery with somewhat interesting (though not entirely original) ideas about our society's increasing dependence on technology. It wasn't perfect, but it was a decent read. I would definitely give another book by this author a shot.
