I have rated this book 2/5 only because I could not relate much with the character of Athena. The book is well written and nothing like I have read before. But for me it was more about connecting with the characters which I found difficult to do.

I agree with prathana I've never read a book that was written in that format. I absolutely loved the story of Athena's growth and spiritual evolution.

To Monika who said that Athena chose a life that was difficult -isn't Coelho expressing exactly the opposite; that we don't necessarily choose who we want to be but rather suppress who we truly are, and in that way Athena was an expression of what happens when we let go?

I did not like Athena's way of thinking. There was something missing in her life and she was searching for it in the wrong directions.

this book held me untill i finished. It tells us about our power but unfortunately we are unaware of this fact,it also tells us how to live a life (if you want to do something do it without waiting for anyone to come in your life to help you).
