“The Ramones were one of the great American Punk bands. I really enjoyed reading the book because when it comes to the genre of Punk, The Ramones are what i think of. I was surprised that they grew up in Forest Hills , Queens.Which is where my mother grew. The even attended the same High School asmy mother, Forest Hills High. It was more interesting of a read than most books about rock bands are. Where they frequently talk about how one day they're going to make it big.The Ramones didnt have this view on their music. They played the way the wanted to play,sang the way they wanted to sing, and they didn't care if people liked it or not. They were known to have very fast and loud lyrics that were sometimes hard to decypher. The Ramones were also one of the first Punk Rock bands and they influenced many bands that rose to success as well. ”
