I read this book not knowing what to expect. But I found it to be a powerful read. Thomas Pierce finds the courage to applaude those that others might criticize in a tragic situation. The author begins with a personal horrific tragedy, but focuses the book on how a series of events, along with family, friends, and total strangers come together to show the true spirit of healing. The Last Rose is inspiring and should be read by all.

A true inspiration, full of love. If you didn't know the people in the book when you started reading, you definety know them in and out by the time you're done. This is a must read for anyone who has lost a loved one. I highly recommend this book.

Having read it prior to publication in hard back I must say God grows roses in a field of tragedy. It is a wonderful look into the heart of God. A must read.

I have had the priviledge of reading this book before its publication. The book is very inspiring especially for anyone who has lost either a spouse or a child. While reading this book, you will come to realize how much the author loved his wife and daughter. Even though he lost them in a tradgeic accident, he still feels that they are with him everyday watching over him. I highly recommend this book. I have read it at least five times and will keep on reading it over and over again.
