Not a bad book. Not a bad story. Aimed at a female audience. I tend to like stories told through letters and this is one of those books.

I kept putting off reading this one, because I thought it wouldn't live up to its reviews. I have to say it is not hilarious. But even so, it was engrossing - a story of two sisters, opposites in almost every way, one a Hollywood script writer and the other, a young mother stricken with cancer. The Hollywood sister, Olivia, is brash, egocentric and highly ambitious. She is concerned with her image and her contacts. The other sister, Maddie, is eternally optimistic, sees the positive side of everything and not afraid to show her feelings. The way they deal with the crisis and the changes they make in their lives makes for a really good story.

Well, I have never read a book that was in the form of letters, emails, and faxes, but this did not disappoint me. Another tear jerker, so have the tissue close by. Really enjoyed this book of two sisters and their relationship.

Another book I picked up at the bargain bin at the bookstore. It was interesting, and a good book. It is a book made up of letters that Olivia writes to various people. Again, I like it for a new read.

Written in a unique format, this book was surprisingly fantastic. The ending was a bit predictable, but, refreshingly, it didn't matter; it was the journey of the family that was the major draw. While the "letter style" format takes a little getting used to, the charm of Olivia Hunt quickly becomes something that you can't put down.
