This novel was a good one to read for my Tudor trend. Catherine Parr was Henry's sixth and final wife. She nearly was executed herself, but events turned in her favor and she survived Henry. An interesting aspect of the story was that Catherine apparently had met all five of the previous wives. Her mother had been a lady-in-waiting for Catherine of Aragon (and named her daughter after the queen).

Beyond learning the historical stuff, this was a good read. I enjoyed it!

I really loved this book. It was an interesting account of Catherine Parr, who is usually overshadowed by more "famous" wives of Henry VIII. She certainly had a sad life, but the character was so strong and brave you were always rooting for something good to happen to her.
