Ryder Starr Was No Gentleman . . .
Preying on the sensibilities of the not-so-good ladies of Nardingham, Ryder was determined to bring his misadventures to the attention of the man who had stolen his inheritance. Surely then Lord Matchless would be forced to curtail his exploits with some sort of financial assistance.

But for once, Ryder had miscalculated. Not only was he run out of town, but he had run out of towns to swindle. Then he met Miss Aurora Valentin, the daughter of the Bishop of Sudsbury. Suddenly, Ryder felt the stirring of a new emotion that was wreaking havoc on his desire for revenge.
