Nature tends to weave her tapestry with the finest of threads, such that each fiber contains the whole of her majesty. Wolfram works along similar lines. The software package Mathematica represents his true Magnum Opus, this book just chronicles some of his discoveries during its development.
Wolfram just announced a $25,000 prize for the proof of the universality of a very simple iterated system. A New Kind Of Science outlines exactly how to construct such a proof. It is like he is offering $25,000 to anyone who read and understands this book. Hope to see you at the finish line.”
