“An alluring book that is far outside my typical genre. I don't read science-fiction and I certainly wouldn't read science-non-fiction! But the pictures and the topics-covered were so appealing I could not resist. Hawking is so cool to me! He has the unique and valuable skill set of crystalizing scientific puzzles facing academia to a guy who never took a science class past high school (me)! He accomplishes this feat through the most creative diagrams and parables! He talks about all the cool stuff (time travel, atom bomb, etc.) you wanted to learn in physics but were too lazy to read the text book and just got by reading the study sheet and memorizing e=mc2 the night before the chapter test! Amazing communicator and an appealing read! ”
