After a promising first book in the series, the rest goes down hill. Disappointing.

The third book in the Serpentwar Saga is where it all boils down to. Feist pulls out all the stops this time, and the resulting war makes the original Riftwar look like bar brawl in comparison. The stakes are high, and in this book we say goodbye to many favourite characters and see some very major changes to the Kingdom of The Isles. Arguably the best book in the Serpentwar Saga, and one of Feist's finest writings.
