“This book was the first that added Leigh as an author, so in a way this was the beginning of the end for Edding's streak of awesome novels. It does, however, show just how much work he put into creating the enormous backstory of the Belgariad.”

“The view of history from the point of Belgarath. You get a lot of historic information from this book.”

“This is a recall of time from when Belgarath found his masters tower to the present day. It is related to The Belgariad series and The Malloreon series. It shows how much he changed the world and made it possible for Belgarion to kill Torak. It is writen from Belgarath's point of veiw and apparently according to Polgara some of his dates are wrong but it really doesn't matter.”
