“This entertaining anthology of short essays illustrates the experiences of the expatriate. The writers collected here have all attempted to put down roots in other countries and entertain with fish-out-of-water tales and anecdotes that capture the spirit of the foreign lands they describe. Start with one of my favorites, "Digging Mr. Benny's Dead Uncle" which is a hilarious tale about the differences between Thai and Western burial practices, and then just hop the globe from essay to essay. You'll want to grab your passport and book the next flight to anywhere!”
