This is not a book we are likely to read completely in a month or year. It is more a reference book about the History of Israel, written by a Jew to demonstrate to the Romans that Judah/Israel was a highly respectable nation with a long history. It was written late in the 1st Century AD, then translated into English from Greek (this ed.) by William Whiston in 1737, reflecting English of his time.
