As far as travel books go - it's okay. It was a little wordy and awkward to navigate, in my opinion. Definitely not a "go to" guide by any means - more a "study, plan, execute" guide. Worth having if you love travelling, absolutely, but definitely not everything it was cracked up to be.

Great Travel information. Some of the most beautiful destinations to travel to. Gives you a source for planning vacations.

I don't know why but i was kinda dissapointed from it. There are alle the 1000 places, shortly described and that's all... I'm not sure what i had expected but still... And luxembourg is missing completly in it.

Great ideas! I try to keep track of where I'd like to actually go, and where I'd be happy armchair travelling...

We have made it to a few of the most spectactular vistas that exist, the New York skyline, Niagra Falls, the Grand Canyon, the San Francisco bridge. I didn't think that traveling at all would ever be able to be a part of our life after we married -- it is not one of Randy's favorite past times. But in our few journeys, he has made them really good ones.
I do most of my traveling through literature. This is a book worth recomending.
