“CSCC Writers Conference 2012/Naomi Wolf was the speaker this year. Naomi put it down at the conference. Very forward moving woman. She talked about writing the truths. She explained she did not get this far if it were not for uncle. Nepotism played a very big part in her writing career. Naomi is very diversed. Raised in a gay and Asian community growing up in San Franciso. She quoted a poem "Strange Fruit". She drew me in with the words. I spoke up after her speech. "I know that poem and what it means.....The hanging of a slave from the tree." She was impressed and so was I. I stated it was by my dude Langston. The audience said it was sang by Billie Holiday.”
