Mahu is a great, frolicking read full of sand, surf and action as Honolulu homicide detective Kimo Kanapa’aka is forced out of the closet very much against his wishes. A story of how he comes to grips not only with who he is, but who his friends really are. Oh, and it's a great murder mystery, too.
