“I enjoyed the writing style for a while, and the premise is enjoyable. But there was just too much dwelling on the details of marine life and such. Being so, I would be much more likely to recommend it to someone who is very much into biology. I don't think the average reader would enjoy it that much. ”

“I admit, I don't always love all the "classics", but this one is great. It is fascinating to see how accurate this account of life, murder, and mystery on a submarine was, even though it was written in the 1800's. Captain Nemo is one psycho dude!”
