I read this book after reading A tree Grows in Brookly becuase I though it's be just as good. WRONG. It is erratic, all over the place, and generally wierd. It was almost painful to read. Ouch.

This book is about a man who gets stranded and finds himself caught in many different situations.

This was a very good book. I liked the part where the people of Liliput pinned him down

Satirical. Exposes the monarchs' quirks. I've been reading this book for thirty years and haven't finished it. hope to finish by December 2009. stand by!

The master of satire and it is amusing and an easier read than many would think. However, this has been the 3rd or 4th time I've read parts of this and it has becoming a little boring although I still do appreciate what Swift did.

My favorite section is the last one, The Houyhnhnms. That still intrigues and delights me.
