“This book is a sequel to THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE PINK CARNATION. I DEVOURED that book, much as I devoured this one. The perfect combination of English Regency history, spies, romance, handsome men, beautiful ladies, AND their modern-day counterparts and descendants. It picked up quite literally where the last one ended, as does the third book. I see so much of myself in Eloise, the main 20th century character, who gets lost in manuscripts and old records and dusty libraries. It's...”
