A good list of 100 ideas to learn how to relax and stop stressing over all the minor stuff that gets to us day in and day out and keeps our back and necks tight and makes it difficult to find the life of peace and happiness that we claim to be seeking. He makes the claim in every "chapter" that we are ultimately in control of how we deal with everything and that we have the choice to go with the flow or let the idiot who cut us off in traffic stress us out for the next 20+min. There are no earth shattering techniques in here, they are all ones that we've heard time and time again in different ways but it's all put together in one book with personal examples of how it has worked for him. Now that I've gone through it once, I plan on rereading it next year focusing on two techniques a week. I know there are certain areas where I go with the flow nicely but there are definitely areas where I tend to let myself get stressed out when it's totally unnecessary and I want to work on that.

Man oh man oh man...this is actually a suggestion given to me by a mentor. I discovered that you have to take everyday one day at a time...and let the small stuff fall to the way side. This book is simple, straight to the point and POWERFUL. Helped to change my whole outlook on life....real talk.

I can already notice myself doing some of the strategies in this book. It taught me a lot about myself and what I can do to change the things I am doing to harm myself and others mentally.

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff is a book that lists a hundred reasons why not to worry over miniscule problems. Some examples include frequently thinking of things you love, whether it is your family or your job, etc. It reminds you to take time for yourself, to practice breathing when you become stressed, and perform helpful and caring actions towards others. Each page reflects on ways you can transform yourself into an altogether better person. Overall, the theme of this book is written clearly on the front cover: Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff! Don’t let little worries or troubles take over your life and get in the way of celebrating the events worth celebrating for! It is definitely worth reading and I recommend this book to anyone that is yearning for a road to a healthier life.

My copy of this book is very worn. I read from it often. It is somewhat repetitive but still has words of wisdom. I have always been one to "sweat the small stuff" and this book helps me keep things in perspective as done getting wiser with age. :)

This was a rather boring read. This is the perfect bathroom reader, in my opinion. Was there good advice? Absolutely. But just reading it straght through as a book did not work. Maybe you should take it one day at a time, or something, I don't know.

Also...I think it so horribly repetative and redundant. I think they could've organized it differently. Because essentially, it repeats the same few ideas over and over again with different wording and examples.

I would definitely like to incorporate some of this into my life, though. I definitely need it.

I love this book. I love reading it, it relaxes my mind and makes me wonder about all those other people who also sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff.
