  “My first real "romance" book. LOL! Read this when I was probably 20 and I was hooked on Woodiwiss. I've read all of her books countless times. "Ashes in the Wind" is still my fav but this is a close 2nd!”

  “This was my first big romance and it is still one of my favorites! I recently re read it and I came to love all of the characters again, you simply become lost in the world that she creates. After 600 some odd pages, you think you would be ready for it to end....I was sad to leave them! This lady truly is the queen of historical romances.”

  “An all-time favorite of mine from the Kathleen Woodiwiss collection. This is not just a love story, it's an adventure, as all Kathleen E. Woodiwiss' books are. My husband even liked this book. It would make a great Hollywood movie. Lots of action in this one.”

  “LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I have read it a few times, and my best friend and I loved it so much, we named her daughter Shanna (her husband never got a vote!)!! LOL I'm going to have to dig it out and read it again.”
