This book should be used as a springboard from which one should read the actual "Gnostic Gospels". The Gospel of Thomas in particular, opens one's mind to a "Christianity" long suppressed by the powerful men of the early ORGANISED church. The world will have been very different had these texts not been deemed 'heretical' and only protected from destruction by someone who wisely buried it in the desert sand. We have this unknown person/s to thank for saving for us NOT just words BUT a fresh...
