Annabelle is such an adorable character and Heath is probably my favorite male protagonist of all Phillips' books.”

Yes | No“At last we come to the penultimate book of Susan Elizabeth Phillips’ NFL series and it is about a man who has a special place in my heart, Heath Champion. Now think about it, how utterly fabulous would my name be after we are wed? Think about it! Mrs. Sheridan Sakura Carlotta-Champion. SSCC. Dudes. It’s so incredibly obnoxious, you gotta love it. Oh and that’s not the only reason why Heath is a man after my own heart and why I believe we are soul mates and if only he were true I’d be on the next flight to Chicago the windy city lurking around street corners ready to jump him unless of course in this alternate universe Matthew Farrell is also real then in which case sorry. Priorities. (Hee. Punctuation is my friend).

“I liked this book but felt it dragged on just a wee bit. Still I liked the characters and the plot and as always I loved the writing.
For those of you new to SEP this is a Chicago Stars (football team) book. This one is about Heath Champion (Sports agent to the Stars). He hires Annabelle as a matchmaker to find the perfect woman for him to marry. This is the part that I thought went too long. The signs of the ending were easy to spot early on and could have avoided some of the "wrong" women. Still Annabelle is a hoot.”
“If looking for a romantic and easy reading book this is it. It's funny. heartwarming, happy ever after.”
