I listened to this book on audio and it ROCKED! The reader is Anna Fields (Real Name Kate Fleming) and has since passed away. I have not heard a better reader of audiobooks. She brings books to life and has the ability to bring a 3 book to a 5.

That wasn't the case with Match Me if you Can. This book was incredible. Heath and Anabellle first start off all business, then friends, then to much more. It's a cute, fun story and I enjoyed every minute of it. It's on the AAR top 100's list and it deserves to be there. Although it's part of the Chicago Star's series, I don't believe you need to read them in order, I haven't and I didn't feel lost at all. Great secondary characters, not one complaint for this book, it's EVERYTHING I want in a book!

Annabelle takes over he grandmothers matchmaking business and of course falls for one of her clients Heath Champion- wealthy sports writer. Annabelles main competition is Portia Powers, other matchmaker who gets together with the bodyguard.

This is my first book by this author and I very much enjoyed it. The characters were fun and the interplay between them was sassy. I've noticed in several chick lit books now that the characters often form a familial feeling between them even though they may or may not be related. This adds a nice touch. [return][return]I enjoyed the writing finding it witty and enjoyable. I'm sure I will read more by this author.

Annabelle Granger is a marriage facilitator (aka matchmaker). Her company, 'Perfect for you', was previously her grandmother's, 'Marriages by Myrna'. Whilst her grandmother caters to seniors, Annabelle needs to raise the profile of her little agency to be profitable. Her first big client is the Phyton, Heath Champion, a self-made sports agent. The kind of wife he's after though just doesn't exist! So, Annabelle decides to look for what he needs... But who exactly does he need?

This is the first book in SEP's Chicago Star's series that I read and I really enjoyed it. The two main characters were great together and I even loved how things were resolved between them in the end. The ony problem I had with the book was the turn SEP took with Annabelle's family.

It would have been a good movie to watch, much better than a book to read.
