Hurray for nonsense! Lots of fun to read, the complete collection of Edward Lear's poetry and short stories makes for a light, cheerful and humourous read (well, most of it anyway.)

    Edward Lear is the monach of lyrics. I liked the fanciful non sense lyrics madly since my school days. I get tremendous intellectual fun from them;. even from the Bengali-translation by Satyajit Ray and Manabendra Bandopadhyay.
