This is the my introduction book to Terry Brooks. I find it great, eventhough in the beginning I'm not really understand what's happening & what the story is all about. But page after another, it getting more interesting.

Blah, I couldn't even finish this book. Got halfway through and just could not do it anymore. It started off so promising, a post-apocolyptic world at first, then back to where it all starts. The teen character Nest was interesting, but the story just went horribly wrong and into the ditch when it described the background of the "night of the word" John Ross, wow, I'm sure I've read worse writing before, I just can't remember when.
