Loved the whole series. I had one complaint in that i didnt care for the wrap up in the last of the Fool tril. It seemed to me Hobb rushed it and in that i was disappointed. Dont let that stop you tho it was a fantastic ride.

I really enjoyed this book. If you haven't read the whole trilogy you have no idea what it is about. I love how Robin Hobb creates her own version of magic. It is not like anything I have read before. I have found that in all of her books that I have read so far. I do think of her as the new Anne McCaffery. If you read her books you will know what that means.

I felt such hopelessness for FitzChivalry that I did not want to read the third installment of the trilogy. I did resent Robin Hobb, for giving Fitz nothing but mere existence in a brutal and unfair world. I would have liked for something decent to come his way. It seems as though "bad" wins out over" goodness". Did anyone else feel this way?
