- Wit: "Wit magic," an inborn magic that allows humans to bond and communicate telepathically with animals. One who is Witted usually develops an empathy with a particular animal, who becomes bonded to them as a life-long companion.
- Skill: The Skill is a magic that is inborn but requires practice to master, and allows the users to enter the minds or perspectives of other people, and even take control of them. The Skill can be dangerous both if one lacks training and if one overuses it.
