Although I enjoyed most of the characters in this series, & was heartbroken at some of this novel's scenes, this was not my favorite Hobb triology & definately not on my favorites in the fantasy world either. The book felt too long & convoluted as though Hobb tried to fit too many characters & their stories into one series; or perhaps she didn't have enough material for just a few characters to tell their tales & so tried to pad the book to lengthen it. Whatever...I still love the assassin's series much more.

Decent book. Not near as good as Hobb's Farseer and Tawny Man trilogies. Never really fell in love with any of the characters like with Fitz and the Fool.

I love this series. I read through this trilogy quickly, enjoying every moment of it. The characters were very powerful, doing things that infuriated me yet I constantly wanted more. Read it. You won't regret it.

I very much enjoyed this series. A word of warning. I would recommend that you read the "Assassin" series first as it will give some iinsight to the characters and story.

One of the best series I've read in a very long time. I would recommend this series to anyone one who loves good fantasy. This is not light reading.

My favorite trilogy by Hobb. Lots of characters, some perhaps a tad annoying, but others interesting enough to make up for it. I particularly like the "ambiguous" characters. Worldbuilding is excellet, as usual.

In this last book in the trilogy of The Liveship Traders Robin Hoob tie all the lose ends together magnificent...as usual. The only bad thing about this book, is that it's the last on in the trilogy.

I am exhausted. These folks have worn me out. The plot twist and turns are so fierce that they will leave you dizzy and gasping. Hobb ties up loose ends but leaves you still wondering about some things....like....what's up with that treasure beach....and....what is the real story about those elderlings......or....What is Ambers deal? I love this world and hope that she writes more about it. I am moving on to the "ASSASIN series" .
