It really made me appreciate Einstein and his contributions to physics. It intricate explanations of his Special Theory of Relativity as well as his General Theory of Relativity. This book made the explanations so that it is easy to understand very complex mathematical theories and formulas. This book studies space, time, and the electric and magnetic phenomena. I recommend this book to anyone that is having a hard time understanding the materials taught in a physics class that pertain to Einstein's laws. ”

Obviously this has been translate, but the way he is able to carefully and thoroughly break down complex ideas into simple and understandable statements in any language is a testament to his genius and his compassion. The more amazing piece is that classical physics still exists in textbooks today, with very little exposition about relativity, the nature of space/time and even the oddities of light. You've heard E=mc^2, and you've heard relativity, but you've may never have understood what any of that means. This is a must have and a must read.”

Covers great material humbly and without fanfare, but without obscuring the true reality shift it portrays. Language is slightly ungainly, but this may be due to translation.”

Einstein not only knows what he's talking about (obviously), he's a damn good writer and, for me anyway, offers the best explanation of the science.
there's not a lot of math in the book - you'll see some algebra, but even if you can't follow it, you can get the general idea.”
“Here, Einstein uses metaphor instead of mathematical proofs to explain to the layman, in ordinary language, what the genral and specific theories of relativity actually are. Einstein is clear and concise in his writings, and as he lays it out, just about anyone can understand this rather amazing theory.”
