“Larry Niven's Ringworld is a well thought out story that keeps the readers attention throughout. The writer on one hand delves boldly and deeply into scientific detail yet does so without unduly confusing or frustrating the reader. The story continues on at a good pace and has enough mystery to last through to the last few pages. All in all an excellent read and good reason for being a sci-fi classic.”

Niven has a keen eye for thinking about the unforeseen consequences of technology, and for getting to the issues that underlie the issues.”

It's very heavy science fiction, with a lot of difficult names to pronounce (punctuation where you don't want it), but a fantastic world to dive into. Once you finish it, you'll want more.”

Niven mixes a truly wondrous science fiction idea with fun aliens, lovable characters, a romping adventure, and a sense of humor & irony that makes this book a great read.”
