“serenity said: 4 stars. This book is about Vlad Taltos, a human in a society of nonhumans who look upon humans as trash, and assassin for hire. It is actually 3 stories in one book. In the first, he has to stop a former council member from making it public that he got away with the bulk of the funds from the Noble house of Jhereg. It is tricky and the man is a master, but so is Vlad and he is put on the case to make sure the man doesn't live long enough to get away with it.
