Cast of Characters/Important People
- Morgan Wakefield: Orphaned young lady who is just at marraigble age being required by her father through his will to obtain a husband and adhere to strict specifications to be able to inherit her mothers property in Kentucky which is her main objective at least to begin with.
- Seth Colter: Hero not so hero proposed to by Morgan who needs a husband for only a year to obtain her inheritance, she only wants a business deal and he is entranced with her and does not know if he can follow through with her "business" part of the deal the "no touch" part of the bargain. She has completely taken him by surprise and he may be ready for the challange of winning her heart and wooing her body. but does his ego have the stamina to with stand the attention his new wife attracts?
- Jake Greyson: Long time friend and ranch hand for Seth.
- Joaquin Montoya: Spaniard who has designs on the colter ranch and is taken with Morgan seeing that they are having problems he endevours to weedle his way in between the newly weds and hoping to force Colter to sell his ranch to him.
- Theron Shaw: Client who comes into Morgans life and buys her freedom and also becomes a good friend to her.
- Gordon Matthews: A head rancher and executer to the property of Morgans fathers ranch
- Lena Montoya: Spaniards sister and ex lover of Seth
