Even though I dislike the shallowness of people marrying for money I feel for a person pushed into such a dilemma especially when they feel there is no way out.
Its not unforgiveable its just sad very very sad. Some beat the odds and find love anyway others can be destroyed.

This book had a part that I wonder if Ms. Deveraux cried while she wrote it because there were at least 10 pages that I cried like a baby. And Im sure youve guessed if youve already read the book. Where Nyssa kills herself for her religeon her belief. and the personal struggle of a man who is torn with respect for anothers choice and the love of his life thinking the worst of him and lucking out in both.
This section of the book is a self reflection part that is challenging even though its
fiction its still a reality of life possibilities and we could any one of us find ourselves in such a state of decission. I suppose I am ruining a work of fiction for others. Please forgive me. Thats the philosopher in me I suppose.
I just believe that we can learn lessons in pretty much anything in life. even works of fiction. remember fact is usually stranger than fiction. so they say. wow.

I really liked this book but be warned it's a romance as in "a bit graphic". When it started to get too steamy I just skipped a page or two and read backwards till the story started up again.

She is wonderful writer and I love her characters! Great book!
