Temperence had her own life, not waiting with baited breath for some man to propose marriage, in fact she's had several of those which she turned down. She had her projects to attend to at home in New York, her new stepfather has however backed her in a corner she has to go tho Scotland and be the dutiful daughter, then he struck a bargain with her which led her to another project one she never thought she'd prefer over New York....
