    It is indeed a refreshing read. It gives you an alternative perspective from the realist paradigm. Although I am inclined to side with Chomsky on a lot of issues, it is rather impractical. People like Chomsky, despite his brilliance, don't gain much traction in the real world, policy realm -- where the "stuff" happens. He is a polemic, and a good one. I would, however, take some of his rants with a grain of salt. But taste the salt nonetheless.
