“This book made me think of my mommy :)”
“The theme sure is that, but I think most of us realize the things he talks about on our deathbed only. So by describing the same in detail he brings us more closer to the experience so we can amend our ways before it is too late”
“This seems to be a touching story. I'm gonna add this to my must-read. Albom seems to have a fascination for the theme on seeking-the-truly-meaningful sort of thing before dying.”
“I simply love this book.”
“I highly recommend this book. I could not put it down. It really makes you think about your relationship with your parents.”
“This book really touched me. I lost my mother 7 years ago and there isn't one day that passes that I don't miss her. So, to imagine that I could talk to her again is pretty powerful. This book made you think of your childhood and all the things kids say to their parents that seem so mean, but knowing a mother just forgives. I think I read this book in 3 hours. I couldn't put it down and when I did I could NOT stop crying. I would definitely recommend this book. It was a lot better than the tv version.”
“I hope you never hear those words. Your mom. She died. They are different than other words. They are too big to fit in your ears. They belong to some strange, heavy, powerful language that pounds away at the side of your head, a wrecking ball coming at you again and again, until finally, the words crack a hole large enough to fit inside your brain. “one beautiful bookmakes u think of the times when u were rude to mom........”
“This is The first time i bought Mitch Albom's book and i think this is an excellent book”
“I read this not too long after loosing both my dad and my son - and man! did I appreciate what I had, what I have and feel bad for the foolish thinking that I had had as a teenager in regards my parents. What a nice opportunity for Chick and a lesson for us all. Looking forward to the movie (I've DVR'd it and not watched yet) and I hope it holds to the book well.”
