The first part of the book concludes the events from bk 2, which left off with Abby in the countdown to her biggest flower business gigs ever. One was for the wealthy Trudee DeWitt and the other was her cousin, Jillian's wedding. Trudee's party goes well, but there are complications afterward...

This was close to getting three stars, but the main character is so frustrating, I ended up deciiding to make this the only one in the series I read. She is so wishy washy, she won't even submit a bill to her aunt for providing flowers for a wedding. While the mystery was engaging, the closing...

The third book in the Flower Shop Mystery series, Abby has her hands full with Jillian's wedding--she is florist, bridesmaid and grandma-sitter. The grooms 90-year-old grandmother disappears from the reception and discovers a dead body. So, of course Abby has to investigate. Nice cozy mystery.

The first part of the book concludes the events from bk 2, which left off with Abby in the countdown to her biggest flower business gigs ever. One was for the wealthy Trudee DeWitt and the other was her cousin, Jillian's wedding. Trudee's party goes well, but there are complications afterward when one of the helpers decides he likes the family entirely too much. Jillian's wedding goes fine, mostly, but the reception...well that turns into Abby's next case.

enjoyable, but not a standalone. You really needed bk 2

It's Abby's cousin, Jillian's, wedding day, and despite Jillian insisting for perfection, things go horribly wrong. A missing groom, fights, fireworks during the ceremony, and worst of all, murder, turn the day into far from a fairytale ending. With Jillian related to one of the murder suspects and Grace's boyfriend being a suspect as well, Abby can't help but put her sleuthing skills to the test once more. Dearly Depotted is another delightfully unpredictable and entertaining mystery in the series.

Enjoyed meeting the ex-fiance. He's a jerk, but I love his grandma. I hope we get to see her in future books.

I really enjoy this series. It is fun and carefree, but gives you the satisfaction of a good mystery. Cant wait to read the next one in the series.

Uh, still the same entertainment of the first couple from the series, but now getting way too cheesy and elementary. Really, some shmo from off the street can come in and be a PI? Plus the author is like banging you over the head to make sure you pick up on the few clues she leaves around. I enjoyed the first couple as fluff, but this was sub par to the others. I got through it, but not sure it was worth my time. 2.5 stars.

Abby failed out out law school and bought a flower shop after her fiance dumped her. This book focuses around Abby adventures trying to keep her cousin Jillian's wedding on. When the grooms grandmother disappears and then a body appears behind the minister's platform, Abby is once again on the case of solving who the murder is with the help of her too assistants and her "wishing he was boyfriend." I've really enjoyed these books but felt this one was weaker then the previous two. I still plan to move on but don't feel this was her strongest novel.
