“Mamet is best known for his play GlenGarry, GlenRoss. He's very intelligent and has a biting sense of humour about the movie business. He is not a fan of producers and the whole hollywood facade. It's a very good read, with a lot of great insights and quotes.”

I found Joe Eszterhas' Devil's Guide to Hollywood a much more fun read.”
“wonderfully mamet. the writing was witty and incredibly insightful. absolutely deconstructed the movie business the way it should be done. a bit technical at times, so if you aren't interested in the inner workings of the movie biz you may want to skip it.
quick and interesting.”
