"An African Story" and "Lamb to the Slaughter" were the best.

I had no idea that Roald Dahl could write such wonderful adult fiction. I had only known him as the author of books like "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "James and the Giant Peach." But Dahl was talented with short stories!

I have to say that I think each story in this book was tinted with horror. I don't know if that's my own weird brain talking or if it's actually there, but each story bothered/scared me a little bit, enough that I'd tag "horror" with this book.

I'd have to say that I loved the first six stories to death; the last five stories were still good, but didn't have the same effect on me.

"Skin" was one of the most striking books I've ever read. It is a collection of ironical short stories with twists at the end. My favorite story in this book is called "Lamb". It is an ironical story which boggled my mind by it's surprising ending. In my opinion, Roald Dahl is a genius and I would like to rate this book a 5 star.
