Danny, The Champion of the World -- What did you think?

    Hey Sara,
I keep meaning to respond to your questions about the Bookseller of Kabul, by posting a blurb with the book itself, which I still plan to do, but basically, it is a great way to see one real family, living amidst the Taliban and how the intertribal warring affects their lives.

I was wondering whether you liked this one, and whether you read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? I have never read any of his books and wondered, if you have read them both...which would you recommend reading first?

If you click Explore, you can search for Debbie Madsen and it will find her profile. You can request a friendship there. You may know this, but I just figured it out!

    Love,
    Tammy

Danny & Charlie are such different books. Charlie is such pure fantasy (with an edge). Danny is much more realistic. I love them both, but read Charlie first because Danny wasn't published until later.
