Dave Pelzer was born back during the times when child abuse wasn't such a problem. His mother began abusing him when he was a child. He had to indure the pain of abuse physically, mentally, and emotionally. He never understands why his mother is doing this to him and he has yet to figure it out. His motherhas abused no one but him so he has to deal with her gruesome punishment. Until he is finally taken away.
