not only is this possibly my favorite Suess book, it is the one that helped my wife fall in love with me. she said she saw it on my shelf and knew she could love any man who still had a copy of Horton Hears a Who!

It's doubtful there is anyone anywhere in the US that hasn't heard of Dr. Seuss or his most famous of books

hooray for Horton!!!! yes fatherofhollywood, nearly every child or former child has heard of thre good doctor, but unlike so much of pop culture, and even most of Dr. Suess' simple learning to read wonders, this is a book that entertains while calling us to be the better human within ourselves. I think this book is the preschoolers To Kill a Mockingbird!

i am pretty sure you are being silly, but this is a great book. i mean a really great book, it deserves to stand on a shelf with to kill a mockingbird, go down moses, song of solomon, ulyses, and other great works. it is a masterpiece in the study of the nature of humans, and the nature of nature for that matter.

Whow!! You go way back. Can I ask why you still read stuff like this? I was in college a couple of years back and the instructor of my "Culture and Self" class pulled one of these books out, I laughed too hard, but I still enjoyed the class. I will give you the name of the book that she used to develope the course, later.
