“Sam Gribley runs away to upstate New York and lives off the land at his family’s old farm. Interesting, well told tale of survival in the wilderness.”

Sam is such an interesting narrator and I was fascinated by his account of living off the land. I thought that I would not like the end as he was being discovered and all that but what the end turned out to be was the best that could possibly happen!”
