“This is a really good book”

It is a really long book and will take a while to read. Even though it is long, it's not a boring book. It is very adventorous and scientific at the same time. There are a lot of moments were they seem like their about to die. You really can't guess what's gonna happen most of the time. The movies is nothing like this book because of the different times they were set in. This book was written so that the year is in the 1800s so the tools and transportation is a lot different than the movie. I think Journey to the Center of the Earth is a good book to read. ”

The reason i didnt like it was because it seemed like when they were sailing across the Central Sea it seemed like the author dragged out that part for the longest time.”

I was surprised to find it had been extensively rewritten for translation to English!
I downloaded Journey to the interior of the earth and formated it to run on my Kindle (corrected spelling from US to real English)
This is the Gutenberg explanation of the this version: "The following version of Jules Verne's "Journey into the Interior of the Earth" was published by Ward, Lock, &Co., Ltd., London, in 1877. This version is believed to be the most faithful rendition into English of this classic currently in the public domain. The few notes of the translator are located near the point where they are referenced. The Runic characters in Chapter III are visible in the HTML version of the text. The character set is ISO-8891-1, mainly the Windows character set. The translation is by Frederick Amadeus Malleson.")
Overall I enjoyed this book. The characters were real (and sometimes annoying) and if you ignore the science and frequent scientific explanations, it's a good read.

Yes | No“In "Journey to the Center of the Earth" a young man, Harry, lives with his slightly eccentric uncle, professer Hardswig. Now one day the professor brings home an old Icelandic book containing a note from the legendary alchemist, Arne Saknussemm, detailing his trip to the center of the earth and how to get there. The proffessor being an man of science must be shure this note is true, so he packs up his bags and he and harry go to iceland. I'll stop giveing specifics here ub they enter the earth and go fro a very long time until they relize they're stuck in the earth, after this they come up with many ideas on how to get out, but to see if any of them work you will have to read the book for yourself. My opinion of this book is that alothough it is slow at times there are very suspensful moments so i;ll say everyone should read this classic by Jules Vern.”
