IN this book Gary Paulsen is traing and competeing for the Iditarod. The Iditarod is a dog sled race. He has to train first to know how to get around the dog sled race and his dogs need to be ready for the race too. During the race he sees 4 wovles attacking and eating 1 deer. He needs to eat fat because it keeps him warm. One of his dogs has a stick and give signals with it. He competes the Iditarod but does not come in first. This book reminded me of when i saw the movie Egight Below. In...
