• The story starts out at the end scene of Hatchet, where Brian has the freeze dried food and all the supplies from the emergency kit. However, he has taken to using the rifle, and thus, he forgets how to use the bow. Unlike in Hatchet, the emergency transmitter does not work, so Brian is forced to make his way through the hard clutches of winter.
