Charlotte A. Cavatica: A clever spider who is Wilbur's friend. She at first seems blood-thirsty due to her method of catching food. However, as the story progresses one sees her inner beauty and one learns the true meaning of friendship.
Fern Arable: She was Wilbur's saviour and raised Wilbur when he was a baby pig.
